  Recently returned back to UK from Middle East. Solaris Relocations handled all dealings once shipment arrived back UK. Would like to thank all staff at Solaris for their professional service, in particular Susan Foy for her continuous communications on container arrival, delivery date/times, etc. Certainly will have no hesitation in using Solaris again in the future.

  Sadly have to give them only 1 star. Sent only 2 men to do a house move from he UK to Dubai. Numerous breakages./ damage to furniture. A porcelain wedgewood dinner service had been packed without any protection between individual plates and carelessly stuffed into a box with a heavy Arabic coffee pot and a granite mortar and pestle. Luckily only one piece was broken. Unluckily that was the large serving terrine. If they had put enough men on the job this would have been avoided. Couldn't recommend this company.

  I recently relocated back to UK from Singapore. I originally had arrangements with another moving company who turned out to be a complete nightmare to deal with adding extra costs and constantly pushing back the arrival dates for my container. I found Solaris Relocations online and from start to finish it was a very easy and simple process to get my move arranged. Due to the fact that I had to change providers at the last minute it was quite a rushed job to get my container arranged and everything packed up. However, Solaris were able to complete all the necessary arrangements for my shipping container to be packed up and processed on time and stuck to the original delivery dates they had promised. The original quote was very straightforward with no extra or hidden fees which is not what I experienced at all with another provider. The team are very helpful every step of the way, extremely easy to deal with and were always available to take my calls and answer any questions I had about the move. I couldn't recommend Solaris enough for anyone relocating.

  Recently moved from UK to New Zealand. While I found company very good to deal with: quick response to emails, competitive quote, they do sub contract packing which was a disaster. Lots of broken pictures, china and bent bicycle wheels. Not enough to be able to claim but things that would have been avoided if packed properly. The packers work very fast but don't really care about your possessions or house: they knocked a radiator off the wall causing an almighty flood and leaving customer to find a plumber at 5pm. Not a good experience.

  I moved to live in the UAE in December on xmas day and had to ship my stuff before I arrived in the UAE. It all got packed and collected on the 5th December and was on the way to the UAE on the 21st December. Obviously this wasn't a great time to move countries due to the holiday period but all went really well. Solaris were very professional and dismantled and packed everything themselves. It arrived in UAE at the tail end of January and the partner here Freightworks is well known and established. Received great service on this side, again, the team assembled everything back again and put it in their respective rooms. they even came back next day to collect boxes which I opened after they left as they were smaller things and I needed time to go through it. Overall my experience was positive and I would recommend that you don't bother looking elsewhere as the price is very competitive. I spoke to many companies and did the surveys with each before choosing Solaris. If I was being picky, these are the only areas of improvement (although i would still use again regardless): - don't give any dates to customers even with the disclaimer of 90% chance. we are moving countries, so anything like that is always taken as certain. Although I understand that freight is unpredictable, when moving countries we are in so much stress that we hold on to those dates given as word even if they are speculative - use less wrapping paper, although it did make everything very secure, it took a long time to open everything and many times the ratio of paper to the package was slightly over the top - my table came damaged. I do understand that moving things on a ship is unpredictable. The only reason I am disappointed is that everything else was packed so well yet this 1 expensive item that was glossy and fragile was not, and that had to be the one to get damaged. I do have insurance anyway so not an issue and I understand that these things happened, just trying to be helpful by being picky and also at the same time manage other reader's expectations based on my experience. - pro actively update the customer. I felt that I had to chase a few times, although I understand that you don't have any updates, a courtesy call to reassure you haven't forgotten the customer would be great. It's stressful to live in a new house without your stuff, so this could remove a little anxiety and speculation. all of the above points are nitpicky so I stand by my 5 star rating.

  Very responsive to questions and queries (I had many, they were super patient). Spot on advice, very helpful advice to navigate through the customs regulations and paperwork. They moved all my things from the UK to Brisbane, did exactly what they said, when they said, and it all arrived safe and sound. Absolutely delighted with the service.
