Solar Windows received a job to replace the front and rear doors in my property 1 year ago. They came out in July/August time in 2022 to measure up. It is now May 2023, they haven't contacted me with an update at all in that time. I called at the beginning of April 2023 for an update and they said they'd call the production team to get an update for me and that they'd call me straight back. I didn't hear back from them. I've emailed (early April 2023), it was ignored - still no reply. I've since called many times over the past month at varying times of day, no one from installations is ever in to take the call. The operator asks to take your number and they'll pass it on to the installation team and get back to you, but no one ever calls back. Today I called, no one in the installation team was there to take my call. I asked the operator to speak to someone about a complaint, no one was available for that either. The customer service is non-existent and after a year from when they were instructed, I still have no doors or any idea when they'll be installed.

I emailed twice with a request to replace a fogged window and some window handles on windows fitted by Solar. Not even had good manners to reply. Poor customer service indeed. Shame as 6 years ago they did exact same job pronto. Must have had a big dip in standards unfortunately. Shame.

1 star is too generous. Been waiting 9 hours for a front door. No contact been made whatsoever. Promised a morning slot, never turned up. Then was told I would receive a call at 2:30pm with more information. No call happened. Absolutely disgusting. Avoid at all costs!!!!!

I can't fault this company,they arrived at my property in ebbw vale 7.30am this morning 6 windows and a front door all replaced by 10.30am they we're proffesional clean and tidy and left my property 12pm as they found it. Many thanks 😊

What an absolute joke of a company! Had a front door fitted a few months ago only to have issues with it since. The door isn't sitting in the frame right let ALOT of cold inside i have to put a curtain across as it's baltic! Couldn't lock the door from outside without breaking your your hand trying and asking neighbours to help. Service calls were booked on 2 occasions and NO SHOWS on both days. Customer service are polite IF you can get through without having to leave message after message on a automated answer phone recording. Will say management have sorted an engineer to come out which he did and is sorting out the problem. I have had a few apologies which I'm thankful for they are sorting the problem. Will take some time but they are sorting it.

I would not recommend this company who installed windows and patio doors. They don't last and have draught, hinge and fault problems after 2-3 years. Despite their warranty of only covering doors for 2 years and 8 years for windows. They come out to adjust the windows only and report their is nothing wrong with the windows despite a significant draught, spacing left in the rubber part as well as faulty poor quality designed windows. Despite numerous phone calls they were appalling to respond. Sadly the experience has concluded with 1 star.

Well today is the 4th time I have booked a days holiday only for this shower of S~~T to not show up!! 1st time installation crew were ill, 2nd time previous job over-ran, 3rd time storm Eunice (ill give them that) and 4th time Grandad had a stroke!!!! Please steer well clear of this company unless you like to hear BS stories.

DO NOT USE THIS FIRM! You would be hard pushed to find a window company that looks after their customers less than Solar Windows Ltd. After 6 months of messing us around - excuse after excuse - today we cancelled our order for bi-fold doors because there is STILL no delivery date. Shocking lack of communication and customer service - I wish they had just said 6 months ago that they simply did not want our order. I have just ordered our doors with a firm who can deliver and install in 4-5 weeks time. There should be minus stars for this firm!!

Just had front door fitted to a stone fronted house, so that adds problems from the start. The two lads that done the job overcome every hurdle and left with a job well done. Cleaned up after themselves and you wouldn't even know they had been, they was also very polite and pleasant to have at my house
