My partner and I did a four week Sunday course with Sofia and her pottery studio in Brixton. We had a fantastic time learning a few pottery techniques and creating four of our own pieces. Sofia was a great teacher and a fantastic potter and artist in her own right. We also enjoyed being surrounded by her wonderful pieces. I just got an email from Sofia to say that our pieces have been fired and are ready to collect. We are super excited to see how they turned out. I hope that Sofia is able to continue expanding her family business in London and I also hope that she has some classes soon using a potters wheel which we would love to have a go at!! A course you must do! I did not just one but 2 courses. Sofia was so helpful and nice. I definitely recommend signing up for a course! While you are there have a look at her beautiful ceramics maybe you will fond something for your home or for a gift, I know I did, I bought all my new tableware from there and they are a dream!
