Had a manual recliner chair with a broken wire. Spoke to Peter, the chair was picked up when he said it would be and delivered back the following day..fixed and working better than when it was new. Great price, brilliant service and a couple of lovely lads doing the pick up and delivery. Can’t say enough positive things about the whole experience! Would highly recommend this company. My dog unfortunately likes to ‘dig’ into things including my leather armchair. Sofa doctor did an amazing job at repairing the cushion. The repair was done very quickly to a very high standard and at a very competitive price. Communication was excellent as well. I would highly recommend. See before and after photos below.

I had a wooden dining chair where the seat had split under the fabric. A new board was made and they even re-upholstered it using the existing fabric all ready to collect the same day. Really happy with the repair and I would definitely recommend this place. Great prices too.

Although I had bought insurance for my sofa, when the material at the front started to fray, I left it too long for the insurance company to repair. I then saw an advert for Plumbs, but as my sofa is a recliner, all they could do was a full refurnish which would cost 3 times as much as the original sofa. I regularly checked on the sofa companies site to see if I could see another sofa I liked, but nothing was popping out at me, then I had the thought that if the Insurance company could have repaired it, then there must be companies out there that can repair also. Googling companies near me, I found the Sofa Doctor, reviews were good, but there I always have a little apprehension for companies I don't know. But those fears were unfounded. Sofa doctor came and picked up my sofa - they also offer a loan sofa should you require. As I suffer from arthritis in my knees, I asked the sofa doctor if they could somehow raise my sofa so it was easier for me to get up from. I was called by the Sofa Doctor to discuss options (especially as it was a recliner) and we found a solution. Sofa was collected on Tuesday and dropped off on Friday (the Sofa Doctor had to wait for delivery of specialized screws). I'm really pleased with the end result! The drivers who came and collected and delivered back were very friendly and professional and I would definitely recommend the Sofa Doctor for any repairs. Thank you, I can love my sofa again :-)
