On time, efficient and reassuring. The nurse was lovely and took proper time to walk me through the consultation and explain it all to me.

I've never been so utterly appalled at a "doctor's office". Not only is this facility sketchy, I mean it doesn't even look like a medical centre, but it's extremely unprofessional. One of the doctors on the phone seemed nice, but the doctor I saw seemed very unqualified to be working as a doctor. I was told to come in early for a urine sample, and they didn't even acknowledge that when I showed up. After 15 minutes I enquired and they just told me to wait. When I went down to the basement, where the doctor was, there wasn't even a medical examination table, it was bad lighting, and there was nothing about that room that made me feel like I was in a legitimate place of medical care. The doctor had no idea that I was told to do a urine sample, and when I asked about it, the doctor asked ME what it was for, and I said I don't know. He just went with a pregnancy test which was negative. Then he didn't even really look at me, barely did anything at all, and when he asked if I had pain I said yes and he told me to take paracetamol or go to A&E. I was like why am I here? He asked me if I had a "normal" 1-2 day period. 1-2 DAYS?? I'm not even sure this person has attended medical school, he doesn't even understand a woman's body. I asked him what the pain could be from and he just said muscles or bowels, but he didn't know, no testing or examination was really even done. It's like he pressed over the spot that was hurting and just faked doing any real investigation and pretended to have any sort of knowledge. I also had another unrelated concern, which was dismissed as he told me that he "didn't deal with that sort of thing". I got a prescription for the other concern for something I could buy at Boots without even an examination and that was it. I don't feel the doctors are qualified, the communication was horrible, the quality of "care" is terrible. They don't care about you at all and they don't even do the bare minimums of their job. No wonder people talk about the medical system failing.

Absolute pain talking to the receptionist (when enquiring about vaccine plan). Not easy to get through to the GP / Practice Manager. I wish I didn't have to say this, but I only say so due to my painful experience. Would not recommend. To anyone reading this, please look for a GP elsewhere :(

In my 3+ years at this practice, I was dismissed of having a condition that I had been in hospital for (where at the hospital I was diagnosed by experts in their field after several tests and an overnight stay, yet this doctor in this dungeon-like practice without even examining me, within 30 seconds, authoritatively said "no, you don't have that"). Once prescribed me cough medicine for a completely unrelated problem, which left the pharmacy I was collecting it from quite surprised. Some months later, removed from the system without being told so, because a letter had bounced from my address. I only found out when I called for an appointment. I asked what was on my letter and they said "they couldn't tell me because I wasn't registered". Possibly something important, but I'll never know. Avoid this surgery if you care about your health.

Ever since the administrator Darren Allen joined this practice about 3 years ago, there has been a significant improvement in service. Darren has been exceptional in making sure my repeat prescriptions are always on time, and most importantly being available when I call, which used to be a problem previously. The doctors are also great and have been able to provide me with the medical attention required even during the pandemic. I am grateful for the team and Darren's continuing excellence!
