    Not happy anymore so trying new energy provider. Was a good company previously. Still have good staff giving decent customer service but this is being undermined when serious issues then get passed on further down the line to be then dealt with by others in what now seems to us in a blasé manner and not having actual physical checks by an engineer.

    Queried who gave So Energy the authority to continue taking Direct Debit monies from my bank account and not diminishing the £200 credit on my So Energy account. This resulted in Direct Debit being cancelled by So Energy and now no access online to my account.

    Greed got the better of this company. I liked the ability to monitor daily usage which eventually stopped but when they tried to increase my monthly direct debit to way beyond what I knew I’d use I had to move away. My new provider charges less per month and I am in credit. Very poor customer services.

    What a shower. Monica Collings, the boss, is shown on Linkedin as being “customer-centric”, but it’s a pity this has not been communicated to the customer “dis-service” department. Being on its vulnerable customers list, for meter readings, etc, means nothing if readers do not come, or write to say no-one answered the door (but we were there and waiting). Promises of contact from Billing are just empty … but the bills always turn up on time … and e-mails get the auto-response reply but no answers. Therefore, the estimated bills go on and on, and they have the cheek to try and increase direct debits on them. It beggars belief that any large company can be so inept yet keep on trading. There were some agents who were excellent recently, but they have clearly seen the light and departed. Roll on April 2024 when we can ditch SoEnergy. Don’t even think of joining this company.

    Hopeless. Went from having >£1500 credit to a debt position within a month and harassed by a debt collection agency due to double refund error. No communication of debt before escalation by So Energy. Still waiting on an explanation and have had two offers of £30 & £40 to go away without explanation. Quite embarrassing really.
