My wife and I had an appointment at Audi Newbury to test drive a PHEV Q3 but when we arrived the salesman with whom we had an appointment was unavailable and after a 30 minute wait we were told he had just sold it. Audi customer service at its best. No more Audis for us! On a whim we went round the corner to Snows Kia. We were met by Eugenio Giallombardo and although we had no appointment and he was clearly busy, he stopped what he was doing and invited us to sit and have a coffee. He took time to work out what we wanted, took us through the options, gave us a test drive, walked us through the finance arrangements and sold us a Sportage there and then. His knowledge, enthusiasm, patience and good humour were just what the doctor ordered after our earlier disappointment. We were anticipating a long wait for delivery so when he told us it would be mid September we were not unduly surprised or disappointed. We were however very pleased when he called 6 weeks later to say the car was on its way. Unfortunately the proposed handover window coincided with a long arranged event in my diary. Eugenio went out of his way to deal with my diary clash. He and Alex Hoblin worked into the evening to fast track the paperwork and arrange vehicle pre delivery preparation so that within 48 hours we were driving away in our new car. Eugenio kept us updated on progress by calling regularly and provided a very efficient and comprehensive handover. Due to the short notice, the car mats we ordered were not immediately available. They came in a couple of days later and Eugenio delivered them personally to our house and fitted them. In my experience really good customer service in today’s world seems to be the exception rather than the rule - not at Snows Kia. Eugenio was first class as were the other members of the team I met. I will certainly be taking my car to Snows for service in future. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Snows Kia.
