For me, how happy my child is going in each morning is a good barometer of how good a nursery is. My son charges in each morning beaming without a backwards glance. He has so much energy to burn that the daily (free) access they get to the soft play centre in addition to the big outside space with well thought through mud kitchen is a big bonus. He has developed green fingers through lots of potting and planting in the garden. The staff just get him, and all seem to have lots of energy and enthusiasm.
