    Recently been here as my usual jewellers has now closed down (Eric A Birds). Anyone who shopped at Birds knows how big those shoes are to fill, but Smiths have absolutely nailed it for me. I had a gold bracelet which had broken for repair, and an incredibly sentimental diamond family ring which needed looking into as some of the stones felt loose. Both have come back incredibly quickly, with all repairs but no messy joins or anything that makes the work visible to the eye. Price about what I expected, not super cheap but not overpriced. They’re also SO CLEAN! Will definitely be coming here for all my future jewellery needs ❤️ thank you thank you thank you

    I needed a setting for a diamond on a fairly short deadline. The advice and communication were excellent, and the ring came back on time. It needed a couple of adjustments, but I was able to take it away on holiday for the proposal, and bring it back a few weeks later to be perfected. A fantastic level of service throughout, that ended with a beautiful ring and a very happy fiancé. The staff are professional, friendly, relaxed, and generous with their time. Can't recommend them highly enough.

    I’ve brought gold from Sonja for over 17 yrs so that says enough in its self there’s nothing these girls won’t try and get for you go above and beyond.. repairs are the best in the business I’d never ever let anyone repair anything but smiths .. not always the cheapest but the quality is the best and you get what you pay for she looks after her customers
