2nd service 1 year old CB650R with 3000 miles was £265 not sure if I booked the wrong type of service (annual service) as it was only £150 on a CB650F 2 years ago at a different shop and it was 1 year old and had done 4000 miles. Happy with the staff disappointed with the cost.

I traded in my VStar XVS 650 for a Honda FTR223, so dealt with Smiths Honda for the first time, having always previously dealt with BSM down the road - for which I left a great review as well. Jon Turton and the team there are very good to deal with, and were fine offering me a test ride of a cheap, second-hand bike, where many dealers are only interested if you're buying top-end, new bikes. They sorted out a couple of minor issues by means of a good pre-delivery service and MOT. Just before the three month warranty ran out, I had a minor issue with the choke, but they asked me in within a couple of days and fixed it while I waited! An excellent chap called Dave sorted it and explained what had gone wrong - a mixture of strange design (choke plunger + no cable adjust) and what to do if it occurred again. It's not easy co-ordinating across two sites, but the Service Desk was great with the paperwork. I can highly recommend both Smiths Honda and Bill Smiths.

Called to arrange an urgent service under warranty due to breakdown. Bike broken after 4k miles. 2021 bike. Smiths Honda offered me an appointment 1 month away..... Don't buy a Honda DCT if you need reliable transport and can't wait 1 x month for a repair under warranty and don't want to be stuck at the side of the road. Whats the point in buying a Honda and having a warranty when the dealer is too busy to repair it for over a month. Selling bikes is easy, it's the aftersales service that needs to be upto scratch especially in a breakdown situation. 1 month+ wait is unacceptable. Whatever way these guys try and justify it in their response it simply goes to show they just don't get it.

I've been in a few times, always get assistance if required. The staff are friendly and able to sort out test rides. The waiting list for new bikes is very long.
