SmartGlazeUK supplied and fitted a uPVC patio door for us and replaced several failed double-glazed units in our conservatory. The salesperson was well-equipped with information about the available options and the installed product is exactly what we were expecting. The fitter was extremely professional and hardworking, and we were very appreciative of the effort he put into getting a perfect fit on the patio door. As with any make-to-order product, make sure you read the T&Cs thoroughly before signing. Note that to get the lowest price you will be required to provide online reviews and in our case we received a phone call from the salesperson while the fitter was still at our property asking when the reviews would be posted. The door quality is good reflecting the price paid. We checked over the door and are happy that the quality matches the price we paid. Communication with the company was easy and open. Some update between signing contract and parts being ready would have been appreciated, though when we reached out the information was provided quickly. Installation was quick and our installer worked with no problems. Our cat flap was also installed into the door. With regards to payment, there was a 50% deposit, and the remaining half expected the day before installation. It would be better if there was an option to pay the second half after installation as there was no deposit protection (to our knowledge). This feedback has been provided alongside under the agreement of a promotional offer, though the contents reflect my true opinions.
