Extremely pleased with Smart Installations from the first contact to the end of our installation. Quotation provided was realistic with none of the "call my manager about a discount" nonsense. No upfront deposit and the start date was in line with the estimate given. Installers were both very professional and hard working. The work area was cleaned every evening and apart from the shiny new facias and gutters, you wouldnt know they had been to the property. The fit and finish of the installation was exteremely high - Im usually very picky, carying out most building work myself and expecting a similar high standard from others. Absolutely no hesitation recommending this company.

Workmen decided to cut plastic guttering and pelmets, with all plastic shards blowing from the machinery onto our cars. At no point did they think it would be courteous to pop over and ask to move cars. They continued all day, unknown to me until I arrived home to see my car covered in plastic shards. All in the seals and all over in gaps. When approaching the workmen the following working day, the had a very rude, obnoxious, arrogant and totally unprofessional attitude, with their response being "I should have known and should have moved the car!" Not knowing what they were there to do and no idea of scope of work, how could I possibly have known. Bottom line is, clearly a one man band operation, saw the work they did which was pretty poor as the slapped on pvc over the old wooden fascias, so just looks synthetically appealing and has no long term benefit or protection. What a a couple of incompetent and unprofessional tradesmen. Clearly not even worthy of being on check a trade. Followed up with an enquiry on their website and email, but days later no response. No surprise. Didn't expect one, as you know when you have a dodgy set up. Don't be fooled by website. Tried calling and voicemail went to a personal mobile. Completely pointless. You'd have to be totally a fool to be using these clowns for any work.
