The owner of this business can be defined as nothing more than a rip off merchant. First of all, the owner is a very good sales person and had us trusting him implicitly. Then, he starts adding further costs of which given we know very little felt we had to agree (special product for damp proofing for example which we later found out doesn't stop damp). Secondly, we found out the guy actually doing the floor had not been receiving any payments so we had to pay him ourselves to get the job finished. Thirdly, the ownernsaid they would assist us in ordering the floor; explaining that they would charge us nothing on top. We later found out that the price we paid (£51 per sqm) was well over the £35 he paid and we received no VAT receipt for the difference which is illegal. He also over ordered the floor by 13sqm and tried to blame the guy doing the floor even though I was present when he measured the flat. Lastly, he pestered relentlessly for payment prior the job being done.
