An incredible, intimate setting for children to have fun and grow through outdoor and indoor play, with THE most wonderful staff and facilities. Chickens to feed, veggies to grow, puddles to jump in (definitely invest in decent outdoor gear), climb up the climbing wall, fun at the fairy garden, watch the weather and seasons change, while all surrounded by farmland and horses. My daughter asks daily to go back and join in the adventures of Small Steps (wish I could too frankly!).

My 3 year old son is attending this amazing nursery. My wife loved the place since the first sight. Its 10 out of 10. Located in the moddle of beautiful farm. They have chickens, ducks, horses and fruit trees. Children can spend as much time as they want outdoors. It is very children led enviroment. They give books home to read with parents. Our boy felt like home since the first moment. The ladies working there are tresure, very kind, calm, friendly and helpful.

My 3 year old Daughter loves attending Small Steps. The staff are welcoming, caring and fun. Communication is great via tapestry and in person- especially in person with opportunities to talk to staff at drop off and collection. The setting is natural and encourages outdoor play and discovery, a pear tree in the front that the children picked their own pears from was a highlight for my little one. With chickens next to the play area and horses in the field behind - children can be immersed in the natural world and play alongside a beautiful backdrop.

My son has been attending Small Steps for over a year now and every day he comes bouncing out the gate with a big smile. After struggling to settle in post-pandemic all the ladies were so attentive and supportive to help him grow his confidence and make friends. They spend loads of time outdoors which is fantastic and have the perfect balance of learning & play for his age. Can’t fault it!

My son attended Small steps from the age of 3 until he started at Primary School. He had the best time, always came home so happy and always said how much fun he’d had, plus he made some lovely friends who he then went onto primary school with. Staff are so loving and professional and made my son feel at ease from him first day. Can’t recommend Small Steps enough.

My daughter has attended Small Steps for a year now and we absolutely love it! The staff are so friendly and approachable, making sure all the children (and grown ups!) are welcomed with a smile. They go above and beyond to give the children such variety in their days and always making sure it’s fun! The garden is fantastic, my daughter loves it! They have a wide range of outside toys, from mud kitchens to bikes and even a climbing wall! Since my daughter has started her confidence has excelled and she cannot wait to go to every session. I really can’t recommend Small Steps enough! I’m looking forward to sending my youngest there when she’s two!

My youngest son attended Small Steps for a while. He absolutely loved being there, they are always so welcoming, make the children feel safe and warm. He learned so much and made good friends with like minded children. Small steps have a caring, loving and happy environment with lots of outside space for imaginary play and for being with nature.
