    I requested Green beans as I prefer a really light roast. The coffee arrived in record time and I haven't yet had time to actually roast any. But I am sure they will be excellent. They smell really fresh so I am looking forward to the first cup once roasted. I have roasted my first 300 gms and tried it soon after... It is. Smoooooooooth. It has an excellent blend of flavours from caramel and butter to a soft cocoa aftertaste. It is ex ce lent. I will be reordering.... V soon. I have enjoyed immensely some of the beans I originally bought and have reordered already. This time I chose the Brazilian Sweet Cup and the Rwanda Agriciro. I have already roasted and tried the Brazilian which is very soft and subtly flavoured. Much better for early afternoons and evenings. I have not roasted any of the Rwanda beans yet but from experience I fully expect a much more robust and full bodied morning starter. Looking forward to it and still more new adventures in the amazing world of Small Batch Roasting.

    No customer service at all. They ignore emails and phone calls. Careless bunch. Order arrived completely damaged in a wet paper box via FedEx. Spent almost £200 on 10kg of freshly roasted coffee and they delivered 10 kg of damaged, wet coffee beans in a paper box. Stay away from these lot.

    Have been roasting my own coffee for over 13 years now but my regular supplier has recently ceased selling green beans. Luckily they put me on to Small Batch Roasting, which has turned out to be very fortuitous. SBR have a great range of beans to choose from with detailed descriptions giving useful tasting and roasting notes. For my first order I've chosen 6 bean varieties (2kg) each which I can blend to create a really balance flavour. The great surprise is that this order has worked out cheaper than a similar order from my old supplier, 6 months ago. And the icing on the cake is that SBR have a rewards scheme so I've got money off my next purchase. Delivery was really quick and free. Needless to say I will be using Small Batch Roasting for all my green beans in the future. Excellent Service *****

Always very little dust with the beans (unlike some other suppliers) and they stock a good range of beans at very reasonable prices. The Indonesian green beans have been particularly good.
