Went to Oxford for a friends birthday. Decided on the slug & lettuce for a cocktail. Cocktails menu was mainly not available, it was easier to list what they didn't have. Took nearly 30mins to be finally served, by which time the rest of our party were leaving. Simple things like ice seemed a problem!! Bar full off dirty glasses, empty bottles and miserable staff. Jess the Manager has one of the worst attitudes I have ever experienced. No customer service, no professionalism. Dirty place, rude staff and would never recommend going!

Visited Saturday 27th. It was a warm and sunny day so was busy, which was to be expected. However, the whole visit was appalling! We had to wait 20 minutes to speak to someone about our table booking, waited another 15 minutes at the bar. Staff were nothing but miserable (don’t blame them to be honest) they had run out of some spirits, glasses were everywhere, the bar area was dirty as were the few “clean” glasses that they had! The bar was full of empty bottles, lids, bits of fruit and cocktails were made half heartedly with no care, missing ingredients. Outside was just awful, tables literally piled high with glasses, food and plates (which were covered in flies) people couldn’t sit down because of the dirty tables and glasses were heard being smashed due to the amount stacked everywhere. People had been waiting an hour for their drinks after ordering on the app. Just awful. Never to return!
