I went to the Register Office in The Curve building to give my Notice of Marriage. The sign as you walk in, signposts you to the 2nd floor. Clean, spacious and quiet waiting area, with several chairs. The people were very friendly, provided good customer service and were professional. I was seen on time and my appt took 20 minutes. You cant always get through to the main number so that is my only negative point! A gentleman next to me mentioned the same thing.

Central location good, Herschel multi-storey car park nearby good value. Signing from entering the building could be better - u need to go to the 2nd floor =] Registation of death process ok, but fell down on two points. Incorrect DOB entered on Tell Us Once system by registrar, took 2 days to get thro by phone to get it corrected. Then the date of registration was altered in Tell Us Once to the date of the correction, not the date the death was registered. For a dept that is centred around accurate info and verification it doesn't send a good message !

Excellent service from start to finish. We needed mother's name correction on our daughter's birthday certificate. We were helped by "Kash" throughout the process and we can't thank him enough for his help and support. We needed doing this urgently due to upcoming travel and Kash made sure our application was on point so we dont have any issues from their headoffice. Thanks again.

Rubbish I tried calling the day before and the day of arrival to find more information on parking and there was no answer after calling several times. I ended up turning up late as parking was a 10 minute walk from the car park, pushing our 3 week old baby in the push chair in the pouring rain. I got there and they said because we were 5 minutes late, the appointment is automatically cancelled. Booked again for the week after, turned up early (after finding somewhere to park) and then THEY were 10 minutes late to see us. How is that fair?

Mixed reviews. When things are simple and go right, then they are great. When there is even a slight issue or hiccup they are absolutely useless. They lie. They waste everyone's time. I have never seen such unprofessional behaviour before.
