a Busy Family Court.older building with fairly limited waiting space, which means little access to private rooms to use prior to your hearing.Main waiting area can be quite hot in the summer. Please contact me if you need McKenzie Friend Support to present your own case (instead of going to court with a solicitor or barrister) at Slough Family Court for in-person or remove video or telephone hearings .

A woman at the civil court line has such a pleasant voice, every time I called and heard her, I got a bit happier and more hopeful. That's what you need when you're dealing with legal stuff :D

WARNING - this court do not provide all evidence submitted online to judges! Prior to the commencement of all cases, check they have received all paperwork, due to time management issues with this court you will be ruled on unfairly if you do not check all of the documentation they have. They will not check any ruling based on information they do not have in their hand at that moment in time, however unfair that would make their system! Also when delivering items by hand, they lose documents so ensure everything is sent recorded delivery. Prudent as last minute evidence needs to be submitted directly to the court, however this court can and will forward items onto administrators in Reading, causing issues and contrary to the advise provided by the government website.

Utterly useless across the board security left the front gate un manned went for a walk in the street as it was a nice day instead, any thing could have happened inside or outside. Family court was all female the classic anti men bias that we have in the UK family court took my ex side for obvious reasons deeply patronising Cafcass and court mediator seemed totally unware of British law and how orders are enforced and missed a lot out of the report from the telephone interview. Avoid this court if possible .Make shift reception with a put up wooden table solicitors and QC"s openly talking about key details regarding evidence unbelievable lack of professionalism both sides could hear anything couldn't believe what I was hearing. Despite my daughter being 14 they said she can make her own mind up when I asked if this also applied to going to school they said no going to school is the law?
