VERY BAD EXPERIENCE The reception I got when arriving to the hotel has been beyond disrespectful, unprofessional and with a complete lack of any hospitality training. The person I dealt with is Lourdes Rama, who was raising her voice at me during the whole conversation, and making comments such as “if you want to stay with us, if not you can go” when I offered some feedback in a respectful way. She did not even speak proper english, to which I had to offer to change languages with the hope of getting a better communication. Unfortunately this did not happen. She was very rude, and when I asked her name she would not give it to me. Very disappointing service at Sloan Place. Such a shame. I arrived to this hotel (in which I have stayed in the past) with the best energy. Now my whole experience has been ruined. I will never stay here again.

Great location. Loved the decor. It was a special occasion - partners birthday which I had informed them about before arrival. When checking in they didn't know about it. It would have been good to have been warned about the construction work. It started at 9.15 in the morning and luckily we had already woken up. The drilling was so loud that we could not have a conversation in the room while getting ready as it was difficult to hear eachother over the noise of the drill. Luckily the drilling stopped after breakfast. The breakfast was great and the staff at breakfast were lovely.
