Coming from Farnborough and trying many prom shops before going to Slinky Pinks we wish we had gone there first. I can not thank they both enough. My daughter who had been treated like a number was now being treated like a princess.FIRST CLASS service, it was very relaxed and gave Megan loads of time and tried on loads of dresses more than anywhere else. She found the dress, we also brought some accessories too including the bag. We have sent loads of our friends there too from Farnborough who have said the same, a great experience compared to other shops. Unfortunately Megan didn’t get to wear her dress to the prom as it was cancelled due to covid (2020) but we just had her 18th birthday party where she looked stunning with loads of compliments. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Great service from start to finish thank you ladies for making Megan feel the way she did.

I came into Slinky Pinks to purchase my daughter a prom dress after being recommended my a friend. I must admit the initial service received and the array of dresses available was amazing! We came away from having a once in a lifetime experience which we both enjoyed and she bought a dress that she absolutely loved and looked amazing in!! HOWEVER, the day of the prom she was taking some pictures with her friend and I noticed the material had marked (simply by her using her fingers to bring her dress down with her fingers). I was quite disappointed and surprised, especially as the dress wasn’t cheap and it was only 15 mins since she had worn it!’ I called them up the following day, and sent pictures as requested, but their attitude completely changed from how they were in the shop ‘helping’ us purchase the dress. I was basically told that it wasn’t sold like that and there was nothing that could be done!? All I wanted was for them to send it back to their manufacturer for them to decide as it felt the material wasn’t well made for the amount the dress cost!? She continued to tell me that it was a good brand and that it wasn’t sold like that, which I completely agreed with. It just seemed she didn’t care, they got their money and that it wasn’t their problem!! I was extremely disappointed with the service and honestly was not expecting the response I got! I will definitely not be back for my younger daughters prom dress!!
