We had a really nice stay at Slingsby, with friendly staff and great views it made for a peaceful October break. The site is easy to access with clean facilities and it’s small size means your never that far from the facilities block. The local pub ‘The Grapes’ is a short (<5min) walk away and is well worth it, we had a takeaway pizza which was delicious! The location of the site is perfect for exploring the North York Moors area, with Whitby and York roughly 40mins away you don’t feel like you have to spend the whole day travelling.

Just back from a 6 night stay, fantastic Paul welcomed us and arranged pitches so we could be with our friends who joined us after being there 2 days. Site and toilet/shower block immediately clean. Stuart and George where helpful and friendly thought our stay and helped me with a caravan electrics coupling issue nothing is a problem, you get the feeling they just want you to have a nice holiday. Very highly recommended site, grapes pub superb 5 mins walk into the village

This is a great site. Convenient for walking the Howardian Hills , visiting Castle Howard and exploring the towns of East Yorkshire. All facilities clean and spotless. Friendly crew who gave useful recommendations for food etc.
