I'd seen Slim Chickens before when in Westquay and wanted to try it, expecting something special. Almost everything was disappointing. The self service ordering kiosk nearly out me off from the start. Every time I'd try to move around the selection it would jump forward or back. When I eventually managed to place my order it failed to print my receipt and I wasn't sure if the order had been taken or not. Also, no option to order just the burger I wanted. Not much of a wait, maybe a minute, which I suppose was suspicious in hindsight. At least you can see the orders on a screen at the counter so that was handy. Went to get my drink, all sugar free stuff. Why bother. The food: chips were the highlight, top notch. The burger was sad. Chicken had some crisp but not enough, ruined by slimy pickles/gherkins. The sauce was fine. Way too expensive. I won't be back.

Very disappointed, bc we expected more for 4,8 stars on google. Chicken wings were too salty and not crispy. All my three kids didn’t like their food from the kids menu and they kept complaining about how salty everything was. Also very very pricy for the quality of food you get! But Staff were very nice and kind!

I have to assume the other reviews here are some sort of in-joke, this is some of the worst food I've eaten this year. You need to order via a touch screen, only one was working so you have to wait for ages to order. Wanted to order a chicken burger, but you can't on its own, only option is with fries and drink which I didn't want The chicken is some of the worst I've ever eaten, the chicken wings were a collection of bones with some black bits, two of the wings were no bigger than my thumb, what have they done to these poor chickens? Sauce containers were only half full and all tasted of vinegar, I've never tasted such bad sauces. The whole experience was shocking from start to finish, most of the food is now in the bin
