very poor and unhelpful customer serivce , if you have any warrantee issues they are not interseted they charge for any parts then you have to try and claim the money back once replaced . (read all the poor reviews)

We own a home that was built 6 years ago and unfortunately has bi-fold patio doors from Sliders UK. One of the hinges has broken and because they and the house builder cannot find the original order number they can’t source the replacement hinge. It’s a £20 part, which I’d be happy to pay significantly more for if they’d support their product, but because they refuse to do anything beyond the bare minimum it’ll cost me over £2000 to replace 6 year old doors. Do not use them and expect any kind of ongoing support. Ohh, and let’s not kid ourselves that most of the 5 star reviews here happen to be from people who live in and around Preston.

First of all they put the letter box in the wrong place , then said it would be another six weeks wait . So replacement arrived, cassette that holds the glass in had moved in their transit to us ,seeing the door had been sprayed a special colour we had a white mark under the cassette which shouldn't have been there, should have had a knob fitted but that wasn't supplied ,something wrong with the letter box inside so it scratches the outside when lifted. So Sliders sent out (for me to do) new letter box which was the wrong one , cassette with no security tape, and one knob which did fit. So went up to Preston to see Steve Mines ,lovely bloke when you are in front of him but at the end of a phone completely different. Said he would have a meeting on Monday and get in touch. He didn't and I was ringing and leaving messages, 2 weeks later he rings and tells me we are manufacturers and their service engineers only teach people how to fit the doors & I have no chance of them putting their own mistakes right. Will not have any more dealings with this cowboy firm. After sales absolute joke

Delivery arrived at the wrong destination and without any prior warning, Sliders acknowledged the mistake. Driver and transport refused to come and get them and deliver correctly that day, The door had been offloaded on the kerb side and couldn't be taken In as it was a customer of mine from 2 years ago. Had to pay for a local transport company to move them @at £140. Sliders said they'd cover that on the day. Oh and the sill was knocked on the top of the door and top bar on the bottom. Changed they're mind now. Poor service, Poor attention to detail. Dishonest . Underhanded Lazy firm. DO Not use!!!!!!

GOD HELP YOU IF YOU HAVE THE MISFORTUNE OF DEALING THE 'SERVICE DEPARTMENT' You'll be waiting over a week MINIMUM for a response. The service department is an absolute joke at best. Doesn't even deserve a ONE star review. The women who 'run' (and I say that lightly) the department will just pass your issue around to one another, give fabricated excuses as to when the issue will be resolved and then get defensive when you pull them up on it weeks and weeks down the line after being given the runaround over a problem that was initially due to their bad workmanship or neglect in the factory. Their attitude needs addressing, it's a shambles. The doors they churn out are covered in marks, digs and splits in the plastic frames, scratched thresholds...it's endless,problem after problem. You have to be able to fabricate composite doors on site to sort out the cr*p they send out , lock keeps fitted in the wrong place, screws snapped off or missing all together. We had a door recently NO KEYS supplied and it was locked !?!? No wonder the service department are "so busy" and can't keep up with the volume of issues being reported. Imagine including the non reported issues that we just get on and deal with ourselves, as well !?!? Go and buy your doors elsewhere, this lot will only tarnish your reputation and they don't give a monkeys.

Door bought through euro cell in Irvine. They no longer deal with sliders so went direct. I was only looking for a replacement and willing to pay. Sent pictures but got no response. Had to put tape over sharp edge as we have children in the house.
