Had to be referred to a hospital that wasn't my local (I live on the south coast) as my local hospital doesn't do a more in depth sleep study. The wait for an appointment wasn't too long (only referred in August). Once I knew my outpatient appointment was by phone and not face to face I emailed over all my evidence and symptoms. Based on this the doctor booked me in for an overnight before I had even spoken to him! I had the outpatient phone appointment at 2pm on Sunday and I had the overnight the same day. They were very kind and let me arrive early as I had travelled and so I could take the call in peace. The staff were excellent and explained everything and what each thing recorded and measured. I just have to wait for the results now.

This is the one clinic that you can never get through to. No-one answers the phones or does callbacks when your details are left. If rook me two weeks to get through to someone and they said they will get a mask delivered to my home, it has almost been a month and ne mask andni can't reach anyone to talk to.

The staff here are great and really tried to make me comfy massive praise for them but my consultant is useless ..waited almost 3mths for my results which I had to ask him for only to be told he had forgotten all about it but upon bringing the results up he said it was very very detailed then fobbed me off saying I'd receive a copy of the results along with my GP but 3wks on neither of us have received anything. My nxt appointment with him shld of been within 3mths and I'm disgusted it's not until March 2023.. absolutely shocking

I’ve been with Guys Sleep Clinic for 2 years. I had my sleep study there. I been back a few times for myself and my machine. The staff are always very kind and helpful. I’ve rung because my mask broke and they sent me a new one straight away. I can’t thank Guys staff enough.

Staff great, room clean.......all as expected. However, the wait time for results/follow up is ridiculous. Communication is atrocious. You are literally left in limbo. Rang to chase results...."being reviewed on 31/07".........had to ring again....."being reviewed on the 14/08"......the right hand has no clue what the left is doing! Very very disappointed. Be prepared to wait a very long time for any sort of communication from this department. I get that they are overworked and under funded but the waiting time for any contact from them is unacceptable. But as already pointed out, the staff are great. The room nice and clean. Don't expect the Ritz ......it's a sleep study centre not a hotel.

The staff were really kind and tried to make me as comfortable as possible. It wasn't too difficult to sleep but it was fairly noisy. This is however to be expected as it is next door to King's College London. The bed was comfy enough however the pillows were terrible. They recommend bringing your own pillow but this was not possible for me as a student travelling by tube. The food was mediocre but not too bad. The waiting times are caused by the NHS being underfunded, which is not their fault and I cannot blame the hospital. It took me 2 months to be seen by a doctor and be given a sleep assessment which is to be expected. However, I was not given any medication afterwards and now I have to chase them up about it as they seem to have forgotten about only prescribing me only 1 months worth. I do not know the results and am worried. The staff are making the best out of a bad situation and bad facilities. Hence the 3/5. Overall, it isn't as bad as other reviews suggest but bring your own pillow and earplugs and expect to be actively pursuing your treatment.
