    So after reading others' reviews of this and other local stores, I decided to try Slaters out. Bearing in mind I was there literally two minutes after opening the shop floor was well staffed, and although they were happy to let me browse I already had a staff member in mind from a previous reviewers comments. Dean is perhaps the most easily recognised staff member there, blue check suit, and monumental well-groomed beard 👍 Great friendly approach, had me measured and sized up in no time. Gave me a great choice and well within my target budget. Tried a couple of suit and trouser fittings to get the feel and look somewhere near before he pinned the suit ready for (free) in-house alterations. I was asked for a timeline for requirement, which, if it had been urgent, they would have looked into. Oh, and I bought a new shirt which they were happy for me to try on at home and if not happy return with packaging for exchange. Overall, I get the feeling I'll definitely be calling back. The store and staff seem well above today's common standard of service. Happy Customer = Returning Customer 😀
