The quote I’ve just received is an absolute joke. £6820 in all for a 5kw multi fuel system. £1632 for the stove which is a couple hundred off the price you can get online, £1856 for laying a stone hearth…£2758 for installing the flue and it really isn’t that hard a job specially if I hire the scaffold I said I would. I hope at least a few people read this and stay clear. Complete rip off and at a time when they should be charging fair prices to broaden their outreach and new customers. Old tactics by a business that won’t last the next 10 years, sick of these pathetic trades.

I went to Skipton to try and find a stove, not intending to visit Skipton Stoves, we visited the showroom with lots of stoves on display. We spoke to Rob who was very knowledgeable and arranged a survey. The service from start to finish was excellent. Would highly recommend Skipton Stoves.

They came to look at a good job i had for them, and to price it up. I had to chase and chase and chase them up for the price and they just kept feeding me with excuses. Lost all faith in them. I would not recommend them. Customer service is non existent.

An absolute pleasure to deal with,starting with the lady in the office who dealt with our installation and the difficulties caused by the lockdown through to the actual fitting which was made more difficult due to old fire place installation and needed a last minute change of plan, all dealt with no fuss or bother. The stove is first class and has made a massive difference to a draughty old cold cottage. Thanks

It was really strange. The engineer came round and discussed fitting a stove. He said he'd get back to me with some suggestions of stoves that I could have, and then I just heard nothing. I was surprised at such poor customer service. I have now had a stove fitted with another company and am delighted with it.

Had Skipton Stoves in to re-open a 300 yrs old fire place and add a new wood burner. Robert and Alan ( two great guys, Robert kept us entertained with his singing ) opened the fire place with care and respect that a fire surround of that age deserved. The wood burner that Gary recommended for our large opening was spot on. Having them back each year to service the wood burner. Excellent job.
