I agree with Carolyn Wright's positive comments about her experience at the Skipton Ticket Office. There is a lovely lady called Liz who spent literally ages finding me an excellent deal for my trip from Skipton to Canterbury in June. And again this week, a really friendly man (whose name I didnt get) sorted me out with a brilliant price for Skipton to London in September. Nothing is too much trouble for these people and we would be lost without them. I can't believe their jobs are on the line when they provide such a good service to the local community.

This is a superb railway station, which I have regularly used as one who resides in Skipton but enjoys travelling! Great customer service is always on display from the staff and there's a nice range of refreshments on sale, plus the underground crossing is a neat addition. The trains running from the station are pleasant themselves, with there being a strong amount of connections that can be made to destinations from the four platforms!
