I booked a few course with Skinviva, the courses I attended were one day long, information is crammed, there’s normally groups of 4-6 people to practice on one model, so for example you’d pay a large sum of money for a course to inject once (one needle and one attempt) on a model that is getting lip filler treatment, so you wouldn’t inject and be able to practice on a full set of lips, just one injection then you pass the needle on to the next candidate and you’re expected to feel confident enough to do a full set of lips without professional guidance which is what you paid for and expected on the course. Other than that the staff are friendly and welcoming, but I wouldn’t recommend skinviva, there are courses available that offer 1:1 training and for less money.

I completed the Foundation Botox and Dermal Fillers course on 22nd October with Sharryn. Sharryn was an excellent instructor. Reassuring, infinitely knowledgeable, patient and just lovely! I've come away feeling confident and ready to begin my side-step in to facial aesthetics. The clinic and training space is bright, clean and comfortable. There are plenty of models to help confirm the learning and gain some good experience. Overall a great day out and a bonus qualification at the end of it. Highly recommend.

2 courses completed with Sandra Mccoy skin via skin viva academy/training. What can I say. I think paying the little bit extra, which is rather reasonable and competitive with skin viva is worth its weight in gold. You receive high quality training and an excellent learning standard/service. Sandra has a high level of knowledge and skill in skin through extensive experience and clearly is highly credible in her field. Everything honestly went smoothly from booking to arriving even lunch. The education standard was clearly high and well put together. Alongside this you receive pre reading and information on the day. Plenty of hands on experience to feel confident and ready to practice new skills. Both day there was a professional relax environment with high standards in clinical training environment a great balance. Also it’s worth nothing the reception staff (amazing!!!) and the other clinicians were all approachable I had a chat with each of them even thought I wasn’t training with them. It’s clear to me from the 2 days all the staff I met were all very happy, positive and want you to succeed. Thank you money well spent. Also I stayed at the castle field hotel which I can not highly recommend stayed on the thur and mon reasonable prices and parking even has gym and pool it’s a charity hotel (YMCA) but quality is not compromised. 1-2 min walk basically up the road and few turns to training centre. I was so anxious going into training wondering if I had done enough research and revision to pass my practical training. Sharon was so down to earth. Made me feel so comfortable and at ease. She reflected the theory then taught practical with a watch one do one style which is my go to for learning! She is motivating with constant reassurance of a job well done.
