I did six sessions hollywood and underarm hair removal at this salon. I think it's important to note before booking here that this is NOT laser hair removal, it's IPL. You can buy the machines at home yourself from Amazon, Argos, etc and you don't need to be trained at a cosmetology school to use it. My two stars are mainly for the staff, always so friendly and nice. The receptionist always remembered my name and chatted with me. For the rest of the service I would give one star. Every single time I'd go the lady doing the treatment would say I need to buy more sessions (I personally think this was because they would set the machines to a low setting or simply because IPL isn't that good). We are in a cost of living crisis. I have bills to pay that are more important than this treatment, I wanted my six sessions and no more. After every session I was made to feel guilted into needing to get more sessions to the point where I dreaded going. I told the lady who was doing my treatment that I have a years worth of rent to pay soon and she looked like she couldn't care less and annoyed she wasn't getting a sale out of me. On one occasion the salon even COLD CALLED ME on a Saturday at 6pm to ask me about booking more sessions. They are that desperate. I originally recommend this salon to my friend at first, she unfortunately isn't as strong willed as me and felt pressured into going through with more sessions. She also told me about being cold called and I felt bad I had told her to go here to begin with. In the end, yes the treatment did work a bit and staff are very nice but now having tried actual laser hair removal, I can really see the difference. I recommend doing their Groupon deal as it is good value and then never going again. Service: Female body hair removal

UPDATE: I can't fault them! They have been lovely, kind, and gentle with my daughter. I would highly recommend them. My trans daughter has just booked her first 6 sessions. I have to say that I don't understand some of these bad reviews about the reception they received on the phone.. We talked to Michelle, who was absolutely lovely. She has booked my daughter in for a skin sensitivity patch and told us that we have to wait 24 hours before the actual sessions can start. I felt completely happy with the call. Michelle sounds lovely. She was very knowledgeable and put us at ease. I will update this review after the sessions. đ

Very poor results after 6 sessions, hard to see any difference. The staff will tell you that it's a normal process just to make you buy more sessions. They are pushing on sales during every visit and can make you feel very uncomfortable.

Avoid at all cost! Liars and deceitful. Theyâre only interested in your money! I rang up to book an appointment and the price they advertised were false and it was much more higher. They basically force you into paying your full amount before you even see them. I made the mistake of paying my full amount and now they wonât refund me as I was unaware of how the treatment will be like (cause I payed earlier). The staff made me feel completely uncomfortable and didnât do my treatment properly. My laser session for full face and arms. lasted just under five minutes when it should last longer. Both the lady doing my treatment and the receptionist comment about my skin condition and try to sell me more sessions that I donât need nor can afford. which I think is appalling and unprofessional. When I said I couldnât afford it as I have children and bills to pay for, they looked me up and down. They proceed to pull up all these âoffersâ and pressured me on the spot to buy them making me so uncomfortable. They keep showing me the fake offers when I know that their prices are just extortion and double the amount from other clinics. When I rang to say Iâm not comfortable with the sessions and want a refund, they denied this and said that refunds canât be accepted. This is my loss of money and shame on me for not knowing what I got myself into and blindly paying before even having a consultation. Never stepping foot into this clinic! HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE!! I felt completely uncomfortable at this clinic and the ladies constantly pressure you to buy and pay upfront for treatments. They use hard selling tactics and are very rude and intimidating. I would avoid this clinic at all cost!! Woman on the phone was right rude and put me down as if to tell me that I shouldnât be ringing if I canât afford it!
