Hot tub: We arrived and the hot tub was filthy- the water was a greenish colour, it had scum lines, the edges were slimy, the 2 'filters' apparently were full of hair and dirt but these never drained and were not accessed from the tub water, the lid was falling apart and hence the water was full of black rubber which had fallen off the lid, the water was half full so unless 5 blokes are in it you are sitting waist deep in water with the rest in the chilly air! We raised this issue on the Sunday to the chalet hosts and were told that the filter is meant to be like this, I am fully aware that it is not meant to be like this so they begrudgingly offered to change the water. This was done, the water slightly improved but it was clear that it was just drained and refilled as all the other original issues remained. We then raised the issues with the manager who apologised and pH dipped the water- it was ok but so I should hope with 1 day old water. Living areas: We were a group of 13 adults, the top rooms are accessed via a ladder and I have no idea how they are charged at full price when you cannot even sit in your bed without hitting your head on the roof. There are not enough sofa chairs to sit down in the evening for everyone, when everyone is sat at the table you are elbow to elbow, they really cram you in like sardines for max profit, the lighting is awful there is one wall light and a corner lamp for the whole dining and living area- I could not even read a book in the living room without a torch because it is so dark. The boot room is awful, there is no room to store ski bags, no where to hang coats and helmets. There is no where to sit in the boot room to get changed in the morning, there are 2 chairs in the corridor to share between our chalet and next door. Bedrooms: The beds left me and other guests in agony every morning, they are extremely firm, they are cheap divans on wheels with no head board, so to sit up in bed I was leant against a window and the bed then rolls away from the wall. The bedding was cheap, thin and had clearly seen 10 too many seasons. Despite the fact it was so easy to roll the beds around the room we still found previous guests socks under the bed, an empty soap packet and loose tablets in the draws, should you be there this week they are probably still there as the layer of dust was not from only 1 week. Food: The meals were simple grub that you want after a days skiing and was always cooked to a good standard, they make a massive deal that you will never go hungry and that there wasn't enough food if you didn't have left overs, but with the exception of the last meal every plate was a mediocre portion, and there was never the option of any more. The cakes were generally awful, they were cooked the night before- we had a lemon cake which had been burnt during dinner, the comment was actually we would be sacked if we served this - we all laughed, then arrived home from skiing to a burnt lemon cake which was raw in the middle but the burnt lid had been cut off. Totally unacceptable, but the host came in in his skiing kit and shoved a slice in saying 'it isn't so bad'. To give credit where it is due- the carrot cake on the final day was amazing. The cherry on the icing was when they decided to empty the hot tub on our final evening which involved them sticking a hose over the balcony to empty it then run the hose from the kitchen to the hot tub through the living room meaning the patio door had to be open, where we were trying to have an enjoyable final evening stomping through the living room muttering the comment 'what are you doing on your Friday evening? Cleaning out a dirty hot tub.' We learnt nothing about them, not even asked how our days skiing was. We will not be returning to SkiAmis & encourage everybody else to rethink booking with them.

Had a great holiday, with such lovely people especially the hosts. The chalet needs some work with constant electrical problems, which culminated with a small fire in one of the bathrooms.

I would avoid this company at all cost, food very poor, cleanliness appalling, host’s have no training and the director’s have not got a clue about customer service or how to manage unhappy guest’s. I strongly suggest that the director’s go on a hospitality course before dropping young student’s in an impossible situation.

We were one of three families that took fully catered Chalet Titania from Dec 28th until Jan 4th. We had fantastic weather and amazing snow, it was just such a great week. The best thing about the chalet experience were our hosts Lauren & Matt. They are sensational, great cooking, great service and nothing was too difficult and what lovely people to get to know! Many many thanks to them both!! Mark & Jess

We had a pretty horrendous experience with these guys and would thoroughly recommend that you avoid them at all costs. Customer service is non-existent and their attitude is horrible. A special mention must go to Nathan who exemplified all of this. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.

Ive put a more detailed review on trip advisor but thought it fair to stick a quick one on here. We stayed at Chalet Christine La Tania. The negatives: Not ski in ski out. The only way to get down is a lift which broke when we were there which was really disruptive and when it is working its packed. No locks on the bedroom doors. (Those with children need to know this) Room had a bath with shower handle but no enough room to stand up and plug didn't fit the bath. Small dining area we had 23 people there and that was very cramped so not sure how you fit 28 people around. Living area split into two rooms so can segregate groups. Sky and TV didn't work. Staff attitude; The way they spoke to some of the guests was a bit rude. The positives: The staff work ethic; they clearly work very hard Cake, plenty of cake for when you get back. Wine, they really don't hold back on this. Food, pretty decent. What you'd expect. Transfers, One time and nice staff. Boot room is actually very big and was never cramped. Ski Hire, we did this through Ski Amis and work fined and was quick. Ski passes given to you first night, no fuss. The scenery is beautiful. The lift breaking really is a real issue if you are staying here. We did have a great week but feel with a little bit of work and tlc this place could be an absolute winner. As it stands would not return.

Was a little surprised to find a chalet for 15 only had seating for 11 in the living area and comfortably 9 round the table. Rooms not cleaner. Will not return.

Just back from another great stay with the Ski Amis crew. We've been going with these guys since 2007 as their combination of location, service, food & price hits our sweet spot everytime. Thanks to Ffion & Alex for a great Xmas!
