My girlfriend and I stayed at the Sketch house studio, for 2 persons; during one week in August for a 5 day short course that she was taking with the Central Saint Martins University. At first we were skeptical, because of the other reviews that this place had. But, for us it was perfect. There wasn't loud noises at all, it was very clean and they have a laundry room, but you have to buy detergent in a near by covenient store; which is right around the corner. The only "con" is that the key to the main building door in some occasions didn't function and you have to press the lobby button to notify the staff and the door to the outdoor patio didn't work from the outside. But overall, it was nice with accesible transportation by bus or train.

My daughter arrived today for a long term stay and was shown to her lovely assigned premium room on the 4th floor ONLY TO REALISE THAT IT WAS ALREADY GIVEN AWAY TO ANOTHER STUDENT! She was then shown to a similar room in the basement which was absolutely horrid and had no windows and which was not what she paid for. due to lack of similar rooms she had to accept a downgrade. The only saving grace was that she was shown the downgraded room first so that she can decide if she likes it. Most horrid communications and arrangement among the team. The rooms should be priced differently by floors and students allowed to book their units so that the basement room and 4th level rooms are NOT THE SAME PRICE. Every other student accommodation are doing this but not here. Why is that?

The rooms are lovely and always have events going on in the common room. However the only thing I didn’t enjoy when staying there is the staff!!! SO MISERABLE, like cheer up! Your working with students who are away from home! Was such a let down and really effected my mood after speaking to them at the desk on the daily
