I was with this dentist for many years. Last year I moved to the opposite side of Doncaster so unfortunately lost my place at the dentist. Having had a very bad dentist experience recently, I’ve come on here to praise the Skellow dental team. Receptionists are ever so kind, empathetic and friendly. I was treated by Stephen for my braces, he was a shining example of everything a dentist should be. Patient, considerate, friendly, respectful and caring. Throughout my time there, I have always had a 5/5 experience. Any concerns I had were dealt with and fixed, any sudden issues I was worried about and rang for they were able to schedule me an appointment asap. The dentists always took time with me, didn’t rush and made me feel like they really cared for me. At a younger age I had anxiety at appointments, the dentist would always reassure and talk me through everything he was doing. Having this professional and caring experience, I came to a shock when I realised this was a privilege not a norm. I had a dentist appointment at a DIFFERENT dentist office due to an abscess from my wisdom tooth that has been causing me problems for a year. The dentist looked into my mouth for 1 second, prescribed me antibiotics, told me he’ll do an x-ray but when I had difficulty fitting the plastic in my mouth he put the equipment away and told me to take care. Meanwhile, each time I had this issue here at Skellow dentists, Stephen would find a smaller plastic insert or give me time to adjust. I am unable to find dentists that are taking on patients at the moment so I will have to suffer with this dental problem. Times like this I wish I had my tooth issue earlier when I was with Skellow dental practice, as I know they would resolve it efficiently and quickly. Praise to you for being the best dentist in town!
