All but one of my tattoos has been done in the cosy confines of the Six Bullets studio, and I have no doubt that there will be many more to come. The studio is clean, spacious, and welcoming with a hint of gothic Wild-West flair and, more often than not, a killer playlist to boot. I discovered Six Bullets a few years ago when Laura Lenihan joined their studio (wherever Lenihan goes, I go), and have since recommended them to anyone even remotely considering a tattoo. The Camden-based studio boasts an impressive team of artists who work in a range of styles, from Lenihan’s gorgeous illustrative blackwork to Bara’s full-colour neo traditional. Adrian De Largue’s lino-style blackwork ties in a little mythos and tradition while Nadine’s delicate hand-poked work is perfect for anyone looking for a fine finish of detail. Pawel Stroinski recently did an upper-arm black and grey realistic Valkyrie for my brother and it is, as they say, sick. Head of House Basia Stroinska is the charismatic glue that holds it all together - give her a call, set up an appointment. You won’t be disappointed. I went 4 times to the studio with a guest artist to complete a sleeve. The minute you arrive you feel welcomed and relaxed. The owner is chatty and asks if you want a drink as soon as you walk in. All of the artists are friendly and happy to chat with you throughout the day. Lots of laughs and conversation is helpful when you are there all day. Plenty of space between areas which is nice so you don't feel on top of eachother! Definitely recommend as somewhere to go and get some ink done! Service: Sleeve tattoos
