Looks like this one needs a refurb, the staff were clearly over stretched and they had run out of wholewheat pasta at 5.30pm on a Friday evening (seriously?!) Food was acceptable and came in good time but it just didn't come close to the really good experience we had the day before in the Bella Italia in North Street.

my daughter and I visited for dinner on a Tuesday night and were lucky to get a table having not booked, it was very noisy with lots of families and my daughter found this a little overwhelming but the wait staff were excellent and kind. the food was lovely and the location quite close to the pier and the area we were staying in.

Sorry to say that Sitar is going down hill. Been using Sitar for around 4/5 years and was always great. But just had another awful meal from them.(last week was poor to)Rang up just to say it was a bit poor, and was told " if I doint like it go else were". What a shame, maybe under new managment, IDK, and I will be going else where from now on.

Our first time experience with this restaurant via Just-Eat was very good. We normally try to order something special so we ordered the Nepal and a Malayan with cauliflower and we were very impressed. Als the special Pilau rice with peas was a winner. We will be back!
