I've heard some things in my life and I've had a long one but lining up for uniform inspection. I was in the forces and the only time that was done was during training and for parade. There is no other workplace that inspects the uniform. It is a form of bullying and infringement of human rights. A detention for not having a lanyard. I was a Safeguarding officer. If one of the staff didn't have their lanyard, it wasn't an offence, there were no consequences for it. I feel you've taken school back to a time when you couldn't move for infringing on some rule. All you need is to bring back corporal punishment you'll have riots on your hands. Well that's me done. I don't even have an attachment to your school, I just care about the treatment of young people.

As a student of a former school with a dress code. Please tell me how one outdoor coat to keep them warm in cold weather effects a students potential outcome for grades. If you think as a leader in education that the coat you wear in cool climates effects your education. Then you have failed completely as educators and need to re-evaluate your curriculum and/ or student policies. This is why both Canada and the United States separated from your ignorant thinking. Please move forward with proper education and stop bullying parents and children to conform to your terrible views on what is a proper coat. It is disgusting to have to read a story so absurd about a coat and disciplining a student for said coat. Get your priorities in balance education is about teaching not about what coat a child wears to get to school.

Poor school. Recently read a letter sent to parents, they didn't even spell the principal teachers name correctly, one page said Bootman and the other page Boothman, also noted incorrect use of waved instead of waived, amongst a litany of other grammatical errors. Ironic considering their strap line of highest standards... Unfortunately even students who show exceptional potential are not pushed to reach their potential, merely left to languish in the realms of mediocrity with the vast majority of students who attend this school. If you love your child, avoid sending them here, they will not flourish, but wither in this stifling, oppressive relic of an excuse for a place of learning. Sad, but unequivocally true.
