If I’m being honest, this was the worst college I have ever been to. The year that I did attend the college I had never felt so alienated by teachers and students alike, the teaching here is ok to a certain extent and I would consider it to be on par with a “traditional” sixth form in some aspects. Although I would say they do fail when it does come to supporting students. If you do have issues going on in your personal life and you are not able to attend college for an extended period of time, they would just block your ID card and proceed to hold you back until 5:30pm as teachers or personal mentors are not willing to listen to you. Other students are unapproachable and unfriendly with a cold look on their faces whenever you’d walk past them inside the college or outside at the surrounding bus stops, you would just know that you’re not welcomed there as they also give horrible dirty looks/stares I would avoid the college if you are considering enrolling for the sake of your own mental well-being/health & if you don’t want to be crying in the college toilets and having breakdowns at home :)

Admin is awful, the website is not working properly, the emails never get responded to and the staff at front desk are unaware of anything

I've been a teacher at Monoux for the last six years. This is the longest I have spent with any organisation that I have worked at. This has something to do with the excellent colleagues I work with, and the good relations we experience with our students here.
