Got a super beautiful cello from them at good price! They had prepared five to six cellos for me to try when I went there and they definitely got a lot more. There are many cases and accessories too. Staffs are so nice and helpful, even dropped me off at the train station. Highly recommend students to purchase instruments or accessories there!

After renting a cello from another company for a while, I decided it was time to buy one to see me through the next couple of years. Originally I was going to attempt to buy online and potentially deal with a return if needed, but in the end I decided to make the 3 hour drive down. All I can say is it was more than worth it! In total I tried 8 cellos (including a few way out of my budget just to see!) all setup, tuned and arranged around a chair when I arrived so I could try them all out. Lance really knows what he is doing, and we quickly eliminated the ones I didn't get on with. Being a beginner it is sometimes intimidating to play in a store like this, but I was really made to feel comfortable, and eventually after playing the ones left for a bit longer, I managed to find the one. As sometimes happens, when I got home I wondered if I had made the right choice, so I phoned to see if I could come and try them again to make doubly sure (maybe overkill) and no problems at all. In the end I didn't need to since after playing the one I got for a few more days I realised it was definitely the right one for me. Thanks to Caswells for making it all as painless as possible, and I would definitely recommend to anyone :)

Found Lance and team very knowledgeable and helpful. The store is easy to access with plenty of parking. We were given a set appointment and ample time to try the instruments, to make a choice on which was best suited to our requirements but there was never any pressure placed on us to buy anything. However, we did buy it from them and got what I considered a very good deal with a free 12 month instrument check included. Highly recommended string store with professional musicians on hand for advice, and lots of instruments and accessories to choose from.
