  This would be the start/stop entry point on the discs – with a square you can put the start/stop point on the corner which isn’t noticeable, however, when cutting acrylic discs, especially on the CNC laser which is how these discs were cut, it is impossible to put the start/stop entry point anywhere else. Andrew then goes on to tell me despite all the other discs I’ve had not having these imperfections, it was probably due to them using the wrong machine. MUPPETS that confirm all the crass Essex stereotypes. How any company thinks that is acceptable is Brexit brain of Colchester. When asked I got wide boy BS. Packaging is inept. TurnRound slow. Tolerances woeful. And an attitude!

  As like previous 1* reviews, do not use this company. We received a Perspex sheet 2 weeks ago. Upon delivery packaging seemed fine so we accepted. We didn't have time to start using the product until today when we noticed the corner had completely fractured under the foam which was hiding it. When we called, we were greeted by a very rude member of staff who didn't seem to even give the time of day to us. They advised that as its been with us over 5 days they will not exchange or refund. I wasn't looking for a refund and was more than happy to have an exchange for a none defective product. I mean as for customer service, I'd say this company has none. Anyone reading this know how to cut acrylic so we can get rid of the damaged area as otherwise its to go in the skip.

  ***Don't use these guys if you want reliable product that arrives in good condition*** As previously mentioned by other reviewers, they don't seem to care at all what you get as long as you are putting money in their pockets. After that, customer service is a non existent. The guys on the phone are rude from the outset (including Andy the 'so called' manager). I had to speak to him after I could no longer listen to the rudeness of the person who picked the phone up originally. They will explain to you in a condescending manner that you mis-understand the nature of the product (I have been working with acrylic sheet as a material for over 2 decades). The product was bowed and it was condescendingly explained to me that the product does this (like I'm supposed to except it in that state just because they say!). I asked "how do the other companies I've had orders from recently managed to get it to me flat without a bow in it?". Stumped by this, the manager had nothing more to contribute so I ended the call (I didn't put the phone down on them though). Unfortunately this is what you have to go through sometimes to find a good supplier (which these are not). I tried them so you don't have to. I found another supplier of --Sheet Plastics in the .co.uk-- area if you know what I mean ;).

  Bought 2 acrylic glass look sheets to replace broken glass in 2 large picture fames. Excellent product, much lighter, safer and cheaper than glass. Quick delivery and great packaging. Will definitely buy again.

  Great supplier for the best protection for any finished framed cross stitch - anti-reflective acrylic frame, 2mm thick (came to £11 for a 43x34cm image). Quick dispatch, the item came well packed and not damaged. My email enquiry was answered almost straight away. Excellent price and great result, which is essential as one would want to do justice for the project on which one worked for months - see 1st photo (castle). For comparison with much lauded and much overrated and overpriced Art Glass with 99%UV protection (AR 99) see photo 2 (portrait): AR 99 gives clearly visible strong greenish reflections when viewed from the side that obscure the image (but quite ok when viewed standing directly opposite the picture); that was done at a local framing shop, a few hours of fitting an okeyish frame and art glass came to an eye-watering £240.00 that was TRIPLE the price of the actual cross stitch kit on which I worked for 9 months. I highly recommend Simply Plastics for their acrylic anti-glare frame and hope they will continue selling it.

  Incredible service and quality. I ordered a custom sized Perspex table topper with rounded diameter corners to protect my hardwood waxed table top. The team were really helpful with advice on measuring, and the Perspex top arrived really quickly, and looks absolutely brilliant. I’m so happy with end result.

  Avoid - sub-standard packaging on large sheets sent via courier. Corner was damaged - however I signed for it as the packaging looked ok on the outside. I left packaged to take to an installation - to find the corner broke on installation location. Was accused of over tightening the screws which caused the corner to snap. Basically I have been called a liar. Take your business elsewhere these guys have very poor standards - weak packaging and condescending staff. No doubt they will respond to this with the usual defensive commenrts about signing for stuff - hiowever the panel was damaged on delivery - NOT MY FAULT YOURS. Nio solutions offered - just called a liar.

  Paid for 3-5 day delivery but did not receive it in this time. In the era where one can order from Amazon, this business needs to figure out how to adapt to the speed of consumer needs. Will not buy from here again with so many choices available. A week and I am still waiting for 1 small sheet of Perspex.
