Simon is an amazing photographer. I don’t think words do enough justice so I’ll post some of the lovely pictures with this review. We were only planning to have a small wedding (20 people) and so only needed a couple hours coverage - Simon was incredibly accommodating to the shorter time we needed, discussed with us prior which shots we’d like, and on the big day took some absolutely beautiful pictures. The only downside (spoiler it’s not really one!) is that we have so many pictures we love and not enough wall space or frames to put them all in. But I think it is a true delight and a testament to his work to have such an issue. I will absolutely recommend him to others when I can, and if you’re reading this wondering who to choose, I can honestly say if his style is to your taste, look no further!

Choosing Simon as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made. We were drawn to his documentary style as neither of us are particular fans of posing for photos! On the day Simon really took his time to understand the venue and where he would look for us to have photos throughout the day. We have no idea how he did it, but he managed to be in all the right places at the right time and (in the best way possible) we didn't notice at all! We have ended up with the most incredible wedding photos, they have caputred all emotions of the day and when we look at them we are transported back to exactly how we felt. We truly couldn't be happier with our photos and can't thank Simon enough for capturing our memories so perfectly.

We hired Simon on the basis of his portfolio of natural, non-staged photos that seemed to capture genuine moments of emotion throughout the day. He delivered just this. Simon is quiet, unobtrusive and somehow managed to be everywhere at once. He is not one for loudly staging large groups of people together, but rather discretely capturing the special moments of your day. If there are particular sets of photos you want, Simon will ensure these are covered. This aside, you can certainly put your trust in him to do what he does best - take highly personal, beautiful photos. Excellent service from beginning (including meeting for a walk around the venue) to the end (sending us a small set of complementary prints and chocolates). Highly recommended, thank you again Simon. We were very impressed with the photos that Simon took, especially the candid ones (although the staged photos were also excellent). He has an amazing eye for capturing the moment and finds unusual pictures that are much more fun to look at afterwards. His un-staged pictures provided us with a collection that documents the day as it happened, and allows you to clearly re-live it in full - this is exactly what you want from wedding photos. Check out the photos on his webpage, they are all amazing. Even at a small wedding, Simon is good at blending in to the background and making everyone feel at ease. The photos are of the highest quality, and the whole experience was positive. He made sure to talk to us in advance to get an idea of what we wanted, and prepared in advance to make sure everything went smoothly. Highly recommended.
