My negative experiences are my first experiences when arriving at Silversprings. The car parking for visitors is not adequate and because Bays are not marked people can park inconsiderately. Once inside the home staff are friendly and efficient. In general requests made to staff for items to make improvements for residents are acted on quickly. The decor on the ground floor is good but slightly better than the first floor, although I understand an upgrade is planned. The food served and the service at meal times is good. Efforts are made to keep the residents engaged with various activities and other facilities eg a hairdresser are available on site.

I worked a shift here and cannot fault it. The nursing care was excellent and residents were treated with respect and compassion. The staff were friendly and there was a very homely and relaxed atmosphere. Well done to everyone.
