Purchased a CWC Auto Diver No Date watch and when the watch arrived... unfortunately it wasn't working. Tried winding the crown many times and even tried shaking it to get the rotor going, but unfortunately it just wasn't ticking. Emailed customer service and explained what was happening. So they sent me a shipping label to ship the defective watch back and exchange it for a new one at no cost. When the watch arrived to them, they told me that the watch was running perfectly fine.....seemed a bit weird knowing that I was turned the crown almost 100 rotation and still wasn't ticking. Either way they understood what happened and exchanged it for another one. The process went smoothly. Now I have a perfectly running CWC Auto Diver. Super pleased with the watch.

Sent my CWC T20 watch to Silverman’s to have it repaired as the second-hand was swinging loose. THREE months later the watch was returned today Friday 8th April following an e-mail saying it was now repaired. Just took the watch out and… second-hand still swinging loose! Such an easy thing to see but clearly no concept of customer service or quality control. Zero stars was my intention but not an option.

top quality stuff just bought a w11 raf flying sheepskin jacket its brilliant fits great. I recommend this shop to everyone I still have stuff I've bought over the years all in excellent condition the store has a vast collection of stuff Also I've seen serving military personnel and police buying there...the staff are excellent as for review by Vaughan Erwin he told total rubbish... silvermans is the best I've been buying from them since mid 70s mr Erwin he is totally wrong

Brilliant! Old fashioned army-surplus type of a shop. Browse for hours. They have army-surplus gear and retro motorcycle stuff including budget helmets, camping stuff and great quality clothes for the outdoor types. You'll find brand new American made clothing from Schott and Redwing boots here and lots of high quality branded work clothing. They sell a lot of survivalist type stuff. I'm sure I saw some airguns and pellet guns as well as hunting, shooting and fishing stuff. Well worth a visit if you're down the Mile End Road. I'll give it a four stars.
