I have been charged £42 for the plumber to come and tell me the toilet is not working. I knew that, I sent him pictures and told them that that’s the case. They came back with a quote to change the entire water tank for £500 saying it will take 3-4 hours. Mick arrived promptly & listened carefully to my understanding of the problem - the heating thermostat wasn't working properly as it had been incorrectly wired to the hot water instead of the central heating when our new boiler was installed. He rectified the problem, checked it thoroughly & explained what he had done. The system is now working properly & we are able to control our central heating again.
