Thank you for the most magical bridal experience! I first time I came on my own to a bridal appointment so I was feeling anxious and nervous, but within minutes I was relaxed and calm. The ladies asked me about my wedding day and served me a lovely coffee and biscuits and talked through my ideas and dreams. I was given time and patience to look at each dress and decide how I felt. The the most idyllic setting to try on dresses, my bridal suite was huge and spacious! What’s not to love looking out at the little lambs too, so cute! I found my dress and FaceTimed my Mom so she could have the moment with me! I didn’t feel rushed or pressurised like I had in other boutiques and It was a memory I’ll have forever! A dream to become a Silk Bride! Thank you again ladies I’m dizzy with excitement xxxx

I could not rate Silk Bridal any better if I tried! I went to the appointment feeling very nervous and almost dreading this part of my wedding planning, but Denise and Becky made me feel comfortable and welcome from the moment I arrived! I booked my appointment very last minute but they managed to squeeze me in. They were so patient with me trying on all different styles of dresses, and gave me honest advice. I honestly can’t recommend Silk enough!! Thanks again ladies

Beautiful store in the country side however not a great overall experience. Lovely warm welcome and professional start to the appointment . The store states their pricing is quite wide with most gowns priced between £1500-£2000. This did not feel accurate as most gowns I tried or picked out when looking were out of this price range. I am a size 12 and most gowns i could not try either due to being too small or tried and couldn’t get past my hips. One dress I tried I liked the fit and style, I was advised this was a sample sale dress but was still priced at £2K. Whilst trying the dresses the ladies made comments to each other such as oh we have another bride arriving shortly don’t put that one out it’s fair game if she sees it. At the time I thought nothing of these comments but once I left I realised it was part of the push to sell the dress. The one dress I liked I stood in for a little while but was told this sale ends tomorrow. When I booked the appointment I wasn’t aware there was a sale on. The lady proceeded to say if the dress is not sold by tomorrow the dress would be returned to the designer. They also told me they had sold over 50 dresses that week. I said I didn’t want to make and impulsive decision and was told that I could not return for this dress . The sale ended the following day and they have no more appointments. This did not feel right and I said ok I will leave it. As I had one last look around the store two dresses I liked I was told we’re one of kinds and only ones in the world. However later that evening from scrolling instagram I found numerous stores across the uk stocking these dresses. I then returned to Silks instagram and scrolled down and found the dress that I tried that was supposedly being returned to the designer had been on sale for over a year. I think the ladies grasped this was only my second bridal appointment so wasn’t yet familiar with the way stores work. This indirect pushy sales tactic is very offputting. It’s such a shame this was the experience as the store has been designed beautifully.

The most beautiful experience! This was my 1st ever bridal shopping trip & I chose Silk to be my 1st shop I visited after seeing their page on social media, myself & my mum made a appointment & Denise was so lovely over the phone. When we went to the appointment Denise couldn’t of made me feel more special! She led myself & my mum to a cosy area of the shop 1st where we chatted & had a coffee then the fun began with trying on lots of beautiful gowns. I had all the confidence with Denise that she new what would suit me, we picked out around 8 gowns & 1 of those gowns was my dream dress which I said ‘Yes to the dress’ too :) Denise made me feel so beautiful, relaxed & confident & not only did I have the most special morning but my mum did too. We later met Becky who was equally just as lovely, polite & welcoming. I can’t wait for lots more visits here, the new shop is beautifully decorated & so bright & modern. A magical memory I will cherish.

Underwhelming, lacking basic customer service. I contacted multiple bridal shops in the area to get a dress, all were helpful - except silk. Honestly I am not sure how they are in business. Paid for an appointment with them and they were still rude. Try elsewhere.

Absolutely Rude and Obnoxious, not even allowed in the door to get out of the Cold & Wind. Then proceeded to give us totally erroneous information about the services etc that were quite clearly detailed and available on their Suppliers Website from their Store. Indeed they claimed we must have visited "A fake Website!" we had not! Condescending and Full of own self importance, in my humble opinion. Steer Clear.
