  We couldn't recommend Silchester Farm and the team more highly! We had our wedding there and from our first visit fell in love with the venue. We had our ceremony outdoors by the pond and pergola which was so special, the ducks made a little appearance too! Everything ran so smoothly on the day, we didn't have to worry about a thing, and super grateful to our coordinator Daniel who managed everything so seamlessly. They were on hand in the lead up and able to accommodate everything we were looking for. It was the most beautiful, joy-filled day of our lives and any couple looking to get married here will not be disappointed!

  We got married here 25th February 2023 after discovering the farm in the middle of the pandemic, and can honestly say it was magical from start to finish. Through 2 years of planning Silchester constantly went above and beyond to help us and we were able to visit the venue several times through lots of exciting changes as they expanded. We were assigned Daniel as our coordinator and he was amazing - even running back to get my flat shoes to change into half way through the day and directly my bridesmaids to the second to walk down the aisle. He was such a calming presence! The venue is so gorgeous and you can decorate it to fit whatever theme you're going for, and they have some wonderful suppliers they can recommend. The fairy lights all over the barns are brilliant and make the venue magical. We had the best day and can't wait to come back.

  Silchester Farm is a truly stunning and unique wedding venue that perfectly blends rustic charm and high-end amenities. As a photographer, I was blown away by the beauty of the location and the attention to detail that went into creating the perfect setting for the happy couple's big day. From the moment I arrived at Silchester Farm, I was struck by the peacefulness and tranquility of the surroundings. The rolling hills and lush greenery provided a gorgeous backdrop for the wedding ceremony and photos, and I was spoilt for choice for areas to do the couple portraits. There were so many areas with stunning natural light that perfectly complemented my style of photography, rich beautiful colours and tones with beautiful decor and furniture - food for the eyes and soul. The wedding planner at Silchester Farm was an absolute delight to work with. He kept me updated throughout the day to ensure that the couple got the shots they wanted, and was always on hand to answer any questions or concerns I had. His attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure the couple's day was perfect was truly impressive. The farm's beautifully restored barn and surrounding grounds have a distinctively rustic feel, with their weathered wood and old-fashioned charm. However, this rustic aesthetic is complemented by a range of modern amenities and high-end finishes that give the space an undeniable sense of luxury. From the elegant chandeliers that hang from the barn's ceiling, to the state-of-the-art sound system that ensured crystal-clear audio throughout the ceremony and reception, every aspect of Silchester Farm is designed to provide the perfect blend of rustic charm and high-end comfort. The staff at Silchester Farm were also a pleasure to work with. They were attentive, accommodating, and always on hand to ensure that everything ran smoothly throughout the day. Their attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the wedding, from the beautifully decorated reception hall to the delicious food that was served. Overall, I would highly recommend Silchester Farm as a wedding venue to anyone looking for a truly magical setting for their special day. The combination of stunning natural beauty, top-notch service, and an amazing wedding planner make it the perfect place to celebrate love and create lasting memories. I can't leave without mentioning Daniel the wedding planner, who was not only kind and genuine but also incredibly helpful to both the wedding party and myself. As a photographer, I sometimes find myself taking on the role of a coordinator, since I am familiar with the process of a wedding day. However I didn't need to, Daniel was particularly helpful in coordinating the confetti shot, ensuring that I was prepared and ready to take the perfect photo. This was incredibly beneficial, as I am usually busy setting up my camera and directing guests, in addition to preparing the couple for the shot. At the end of my shift, I was served by what I believe was Olivia. Her friendly and attentive service was excellent, and it was clear that she was dedicated to providing a great experience for all customers. I noticed that many of the older wedding guests were enjoying themselves at the bar and in the immediate seating area. This is a testament to the quality of the bar, as everyone seemed to be having a good time and felt welcomed enough to stay standing at the bar. This, in turn, made my job easier, as the relaxed and smiling guests provided great photo opportunities. I'm afraid I will receive all of the praise for the beautiful photos the couple are about to receive but it really would not have been possible without the beautiful venue and the assistance of the staff.

  I had the pleasure of attending a corporate offsite meeting at Silchester Farm and I cannot recommend this venue highly enough. From the moment we arrived, everything ran smoothly and the team were incredibly accommodating. The venue itself is stunning and provided the perfect atmosphere for our team to reflect on our successes and plan for the future. The food was exceptional, and we were all impressed by the quality and presentation of every dish. With a cosy fire and natural light streaming through the windows, it provided an ideal setting for our offsite meeting. Thank you to the team at Silchester Farm for making the meeting a memorable experience.

  My (now) husband and I started viewing wedding venues for our wedding way back in 2018. We viewed many venues but nothing seemed RIGHT. So when we were told about Silchester, we booked an appointment straight away and it did not disappoint! Back then (2019) only one bar and the main barn was ready, they still had so many plans just in the pipeline and didn't even have their wedding license - but we just adored it as it was and took a risk with booking for 2022 & it turned out to be a risk WELL worth taking! Covid hit and yes we were extremely nervous but Al & Carla kept us updated and fulfilled all of their plans. When we were finally able to view again late 2021 we were completely blown away by how much had been done and how many changes had been made. The venue was beautiful when we booked but once these changes were made, it was honestly breath taking! We were in constant contact with Al and Carla and were really well looked after throughout. Their personal touches to go above and beyond to help their couples really stands out and we instantly felt comfortable and at ease in their company. Both Daniel and Jess (the wedding coordinators involved in our wedding) did their absolute best to ensure we had the most incredible day once our day finally arrived. Daniel was at the other end of his emails or calls straight away and formed a lovely partnership with our own wedding planner. On the day he was always visible and was on hand until late in the evening.. nothing was too much and it was really nice to have such a friendly face around. If your looking for a family run venue with stunning interior design, beautiful views / scenery, friendly and helpful staff & every little minor detail in between covered - then Silchester is it! Our wedding day was just perfect. Absolutely perfect. I am still told now by our guests (after nearly 9 months) that our wedding was the best wedding they have been too! I look back at pictures and our wedding video and still cant believe how lucky we were to have found our dream venue. Thank you to all at Silchester Farm!! We cant wait to visit again for our first year anniversary! Gemma and David x

  Silchester Farm is the most incredible wedding venue & we feel lucky enough to have had our our own wedding there, almost a week ago! From our first visit, we were made to feel welcome & it was clear just how much love went and goes into making the farm what it is. Daniel & the team were incredible on the lead up to the day & on the day itself - nothing was too much to ask! Daniel was extremely calm & reassuring even when we were a tad nervous. The seamless organisation of the day & communication between Silchester and our suppliers meant that we could completely relax on the day as we knew we were in safe hands. We cannot wait to return to Silchester to one (or more!) of the many events they put on, alongside weddings. I could not recommend this venue higher! Thank you so much to Daniel & the team at Silchester for helping us have the wedding we'd dreamed of xx

  We had our wedding here in March 2023 and wow what a venue! Everything about it was stunning and a great team of people that work there. On the lead up to the day and on the day, we could not fault Daniel, he had everything set up to how we visioned it. He was very On the ball meaning everything was a breeze. The breakfast in the morning was filled with incredible food. We would not change anything about the day! A huge thank you from the Hall's
