This is a most wonderful service and cannot be praised enough. We are very lucky to have such service provided as part of Surrey CC. With my husband going blind late in life the practical support provided is so very helpful from learning to walk with the white cane, to practical help by professional guides how to navigate the traffic, traffic lights, how to walk off road and to gain confidence is invaluable. We thank the wonderful people who provide sensory services for Surrey.

Brilliant service. My son had been diagnosed with glaucoma by one high street optician, another was not sure. He was suffering continual headaches with partial loss of vision in one eye. He had been referred to the eye clinic by his GP but had no idea how long it would be before he even received an appointment. I contacted Sight for Surrey and within two hours he was informed that he needed an urgent referral which would be arranged for him the next day.
