Stumbled accros this place whilst searching for "Halal" after the cricket at Essex County Cricket Ground. All the chicken in Shwings is halal. There are some really creative flavourful chicken wing dishes on the menu. Interesting stuff. I had the mango chicken curry burger. Sounded good, but lacked in flavour. There were actual real mango pieces in the burger, but would be better with a sweet mango chutney instead as it just tasted like nothing. Was a good experience and great venue and customer service. Shame there was a service charge for a takeaway! Left a sour taste when it came to paying. Dietary restrictions: Halal Chicken

Sorry but tho the staff were very friendly the food wasn't as nice as it looked . Chicken was chewy, garlic over powered the starters , first visit and last. Wish them well, but proprietor needs to make chief changes I think .

Been meaning to come here for ages and was really disappointed by the wings; tasteless with chewy skin drowned in an overly sweet sauce. And this was supposed to be their standard shwing wings. Not cheap either, and they charged extra for bbq sauce :(
