Not a great experience with the staff there. We are cancelling our campaign with plenty of notice and the policy said they don't return the money. That is not good, most of the places return your money if for a reason you need to cancel and if there is plenty of time. They take a while to answer our email. I visited The Shuttleworth Air Show, On Sunday 7 May 2023. The coach drop off point, was close to the Zoological Education Centre, in the grounds. Unfortunately, the walk to the air field was over a mile and as some of the coach party, including myself, had reduced mobility, this proved challenging. Our coach driver, left a message at the office, and eventually, a small 2 person buggy, appeared, and I was ferried to just outside, the air field, by a very nice staff member, by the name of Colin. I understand, that there is no longer, an official mobility buggy, on offer at Shuttleworth, because of the financial cost. A pity as quite a few other attractions such as Eltham Palace and Stourhead , manage to cater for thir disabled customers. The air field, has plenty of food and beverage stalls and vans. Unfortunately, the show was somewhat depleted, because of the soggy ground conditions, which meant that several planes could not display. One of the helpful events staff, radioed for Colin and his buggy and he kindly dropped me back to the coach.

The best early aviation museum I've been to, very well organised and they have an amazing piece of history and it's all in really good condition. I particularly liked the Blériot. The gardens are extremely beautiful and the cafe is amazing too with a view of the airfield. I just wish I could fly into the airfield someday. I reccomend coming in good weather, the atmosphere is worth it with the sun out
