I strongly advise to all those being abused by the people there to email the info address and make a formal complaint. That s what I did and they said they will look at this carefully and check CCTV. These people are very rude and aggressive and manipulate others to look as the victims and make you believe you have done something wrong. Shurgard must do something. about it.

Dear Shurgard Team, Please stop removing my review and instead of this start replying to my emails. It's been almost 2 months and you still didn't explain when robbery has happened and why your manager entered my room without notifying me or asking for permission. Also still no CCTV. I have the worst experience I could ever have with this company. Please stay away from them. Unless you want to loose everything and faced the worst attitude towards you. I've delayed payment (but covered all the bills later) and for this I was robbed and lost everything I've ever had. First of all, my padlock was broken and the team said that they have nothing to do with it. I was notified days later and they also didn't notify police. All the days after the team was repeating that nobody was inside and everything is safe. Moreover they sent me shot with yellow bag laying on the left side. Since that day they promised that nobody entered the room and also said that they even not allowed to touch my door. Also they've promised on 21st of December to find CCTV footage ASAP. I've trusted them. When I've arrived to take away my belongings they were telling me that nothing was lost on the next day they showed me photo that their manager took a day before - it was total mess. FIrst of all, the yellow bag already was missing and they told that their manager is the only person who were entering my room. On my question why their manager didn't ask my permission to enter room or didn't notify me - they couldn't find an answer. I called my lawyer and he said that I must call police first. Rihanna and Kayla were extremely rude and abusive towards me. They were trying to manipulate mentally and insisting that I shouldn't call the police now. All the payments were covered and I was left with trash that I had to clear around 5 pm on 13th of January (when everything was closed). They kept lying that still no CCTV (after more than 3 weeks), couldn't give an explanation why their manager or someone else from their team entered my room without permission and why they didn't notify police after robbery. Manager on the phone were extremely rude to team and sending threads. He also didn't answer any of my questions. Thanks the incredible police officers I got permission to take away trash next day. When I've arrived to take away trash I've asked permission from Rihanna and Kayla - they said that I can do it. Once I've finished Rihanna started to yell at me that I must remove everything on the streets and owe them money for the whole month because I removed trash not yesterday but today. Both of them were so rude and aggressive which lead me to panic attack and I had to call the ambulance. They didn't even allow me to sit at the unloading area - I had to wait sitting on the street during winter. At the same time while left luggage and trash were on the street and I was sitting at ambulance car a man came from the corner of that budding and tried to steal what's left. I was renting lockers in London for 5 years and never ever had any experience like this. I've realised that my big mistake was talking to Rihanna in front of my room. Sometimes she was checking the floor and talking to me in front of my room seeing what's inside. Moreover quite often I was receiving calls from team about when I'm going to be there - which is suspicious. But the most ridiculous part is that Rihanna told me multiple amount of times: "If you wouldn't delay payment - it would be different and this situation wouldn't happen". It's been 1,5 months and still no CCTV. Since I left this horrible storage team stopped to reply all my email and calls. I'm working with psychologist now and trying to get back to life.

I was assaulted by the manager there too yesterday and sadly share some of the other reviews posted here. I am still in shock and scared. People abusing their position of « power » and coming after others in this way is very distressing. Such person clearly disturbed should NOT have customer-facing positions. I was verbally aggressed following a misunderstanding about the entrance of the storage; they came back at me twice, half an hour and an hour later when I was waiting outside for my van, avoiding them. Had violent, defamatory words and threatened to close the storage. Luckily someone offered to wait outside with me. I am posting from a friend’s account as I am scared they would know my name. I can understand some communication issues happen and I am not native in English, that I was trying to enter the wrong place - it was my first time there, but NOTHING can ever justify what happened there. I will never return alone. Avoid this place at all costs.
