I tried accupuncture 18 years ago with good results so I made the appointment with Shujuan because I was feeling run down, and was on strong pain killers, due to a severe soft tissue injury in my knee. The final straw for me was my back started to go into spasms which left me feeling very debilitated. Shujuan takes it one appointment at a time and said after my first I would probably need 4 or 5 before I started to feel better. She also prescribed me some Chinese herbal medicine which I completed. I had 4 accupuncture sessions once a week. Her clinic is within her home it even has its own front door and private toilet! Shujuan is a lovely person she has helped me tremdously and I've started reducing my pain meds by 50% which is a good step forward.

Firstly Shujuan is such a warm, caring, thoughtful professional lady. I feel lucky to have found such a beautiful soul. The clinic is spotless, warm and inviting. My back problem is improving and I am so grateful for the treatments. I have found her very accommodating regarding my appointments and when I've needed to see her.If I need to make an urgent appointment, Shujuan always manages to fit me in to her schedule. I’ve suffered with lower back problems for such a long time I don’t really remember how it feels to live without it and I’ve become numb to how much pain I’m in. In my first appointment with Shujuan, we went through a consultation and just by feeling in my back she noted that the pain was far worse than I was letting on. Went through the full treatment of acupuncture massage and cupping and gave Shujuan a little scare with how dark some of the spots became very quickly with cupping but for the first time in 10 years, I spent a few days without too much pain. I was able to pinpoint exactly where the pain sources were and used that to help my next treatment. The next appointment was the same, I now feel like I’m finally getting a treatment that is actually helping me reduce the pain I’m in and more than that, I feel like someone’s actually treating me who knows what they’re doing, how they can help and actually seems to want to help me. Shujuan is very calm, very knowledgeable and very good at what she does. She has great equipment, great treatment and clear skill in doing so. I’d recommend her to anyone and everyone I could. Thank you Shujuan.

It was my first time using Shujuan yesterday for acupuncture for my chronic migraines that I have been suffering from for years now. Shujuan made me feel so welcome, the consultant before the acupuncture was extremely thorough. I felt completely relaxed & after the session felt like a lot of pressure had been released from my system. Will definitely be going back soon x

I have used this clinic over the past year to improve overall health, energy levels and hormonal migraine, peri menopausal issues. Shujuan is highly skilled and an excellent practitioner in the medical field. Within two sessions the sensitive area where I felt a migraine might come on is undetectable now. My energy levels are improved and I feel 'less stuck'and blockages which might have led to further issues feel more balanced. On the last treatment halfway through I had a massively notice surge of energy and alertness and felt like I could jump off the treatment table. There have been other subtle but noticible changes not only to physical health but wider wellbeing. Less tense, less propensity towards anxiety response. Acupuncture is a fantastic easy access treatment and results are cumulative with continued treatments it seems. Thank you Shujuan for your time and energy providing a wholly individualised treatment plan.
