I wanted a new modern violin. I tried several mid priced violins in Anthony's shop. They were very good, but I decided to buy a Chinese violin from the makers direct. Having received the violin, which had sustained minor damage in transit I took it to Anthony for a set up.He did a great job. It now sounds and plays really well. The purchase route I took was risky. I would advise you to buy one of Anthony's selected and set up violins. I shall be returning to his shop for future needs. Frank Dudley
